Rainbow Academy Learning and Child Care / Preschool House was established in 2002 with a vision of providing high-quality, nurturing child care to families in the Bolton community. For over two decades, the centre has remained dedicated to supporting children’s learning, growth, and well-being through play-based experiences in a safe and welcoming environment. In 2022, Rainbow Academy entered a new chapter under new ownership, bringing renewed energy and continued investment into the program while maintaining the strong values and traditions families have come to trust. Today, our commitment remains the same; to serve the children and families of our community by providing inclusive, engaging, and supportive care where every child feels a sense of belonging and opportunity to thrive.

Meet the Owner/Director
Ms. Tamanna Mehta
With over a decade of experience in early childhood education and child development, Ms.Tamanna Mehta is a dedicated Montessori educator, accomplished leader, and proud owner of two thriving child care centres in the GTA. Holding a Bachelor of Arts from York University & MACTE accredited Montessori diploma, she has built a strong reputation for creating nurturing, high-quality learning environments that foster children’s independence, confidence, creativity, and overall development.
Her expertise spans program leadership, curriculum development, staff mentorship, licensing compliance, and operational management. Passionate about empowering educators and supporting families, Tamanna Mehta is committed to building strong community connections while ensuring every child receives exceptional care and education in a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment.

How do educators support children’s development?
At Rainbow Academy, our educators support every child’s growth by creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel valued and confident. We observe and listen to each child to understand their interests and needs, guiding their learning through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Our team fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and language development, helping children build relationships, express themselves, and develop self-confidence.
